• Fill out the form completly and send it to our office by mail including the requested documents at the bottom of the form page 4;
• Following the reception of your request, we will invite you to participate at an information meeting on CEAB Concept (forms, software for your written report, the web site, the marketing tools and also our developpement program for all the Quebec regions).

In concert with our risk manager and insurance broker, Assurco inc. and our insurance carrier L’Unique assurances générales inc. Member of La Capitale Groupe Financier inc. we have created a risk management comittee to analyse all receivable claims, take action against cranky or ill-founded and fair-minded to the consumer and the inspector at this, in all equity for the consumer or the inspector.

• We are offering you the CEAB Concept software for writing building inspectors reports and all the required forms to complete your inspection report for pre-buying inspection in all categories.

For the autorized users of CEAB Concept, the use of the forms are mandatory, since it will permit you to reduce the risks of claims and take advantage in a long term using a errors and omissions insurance with special premium.

The annual fees for CEAB Concept authorized user is 600.00 $ plus taxes. Take advantage of our montly installment payment : 62,67 $ including taxes and fees.

Each building inspector and/or expert remain always independant and autonomous.

CEAB Concept THE solution

For many years, Quebec’s building inspectors have been facing attacks from consumers, pressures from real estate agents, decisions by insurers and press allegations without ever being able to take a stand or defend their rights.

CEAB Concept has developed a working method for managing risks and protecting consumers, without compromising the financial security of building inspectors and experts.

We have devised a concept to support the rights and obligations of building inspectors and experts. As such, we have set forth – jointly with our risk manager and the insurance company L’UNIQUE ASSURANCES GÉNÉRALES INC. (member of the group La Capitale, compagnie d’assurance) – an effective professional risk management committee enabling us to offer consumers and users of the concept professional liability insurance coverage of $1 million per event, with an annual limit of $1 million per user.

To CEAB Concept, this $1 million amount is really a minimum to offer adequate coverage. At a time when real estate values, expert fees, legal fees and construction costs are constantly increasing, we think it would be risky to offer users less coverage.

We therefore negotiated with our insurer a program based on the users’ professionalism and skills; and we obtained a mechanism to stabilize – and even reduce – premiums for a period of 10 years. (Annual premium was already reduced by 1 000,00 $ and other reduction may occur)
